Rives de Lin (Rives of Flax) is mould made, acid free and buffered containing 85% cotton and 15% linen. Rives de Lin has long fluffy deckled edges giving it the appearance of a handmade paper. It has two natural deckles and two simulated meaning it was torn at the finishing stage. Rives de Lin is lightly sized and is praised for his resilience and elasticity. The linen gives it the tensile strength that makes it superb for embossing. Rives de Lin watermark includes the words, Moulin du Gue, the mill at the shallow part of the river. You can use this paper for hand lithography, intaglio, letterpress, offset, pastel & charcoal, silkscreen, stationery and watercolor.
