This paper was designed for photographic artisans who print using palladium and platinum printing process. In order to do this delicate process your paper must be free of any alkaline or buffering substances or chemicals due to the acidic solutions in the clearing process of the final print. Arches Platine was the first paper designed for this process. This papers wet strength to take on chemical baths is a needed attribute for this printing process.
