Awagami Kitakata SH-16, 17 x 20, 36 gsm is made of 90% Gampi fiber and 10% high alpha cellulose. This Kitakata as a subtle gloss yet soft surface. It is warm-toned yet resilient and the sheet is rather dense making it ideal for many types of printmaking. The Awagami Kitakata SH-16 has one silky smooth side, ideal for drawing, and a soft side ideal for many printmaking techniques. This paper has natural deckle-edges on four sides, and comes in a natural color (eggshell). This Japanese Fine Art Paper has a delicate laid pattern on the soft side. Philippine gampi is the main fiber for this paper that has a similar gloss to short-fibred 'mitsumata' paper. The paper is both dense and simultaneously glossy. Ideal for printmaking, copperplate, serigraph, screen printing, letterpress, chine colle, and more.
